To purchase new books for the Barnes & Noble NOOK App for both iOS and Android, visit BN.com in your device's web browser (Safari/Chrome or other) or on a desktop/laptop computer. eBooks purchased on BN.com will automatically sync to your NOOK Library. The Barnes & Noble NOOK App does not have a Shop feature to purchase content directly through the app. Purchasing NOOK Content for Barnes & Noble NOOK App Your new eBook will be waiting for you in your NOOK Library. Since you have a default credit card stored on your BN.com account, clicking on "Instant Purchase" will immediately complete your order. If you have enabled the Instant Purchase option on your BN.com account, you can also checkout using the "Instant Purchase" link. Your order number will appear, and the eBook is now available in the NOOK Library of the account with which you made the purchase.
Go through the checkout process and click "Submit Order" when you are ready to complete your purchase. If you purchase eBooks with a different account than what is registered to your NOOK Device/App, the titles will not appear in your Library. When you check out, sign in to the BN.com account that is registered to your NOOK Device/App.
You can check out at any time by clicking on the Shopping Cart in the top right corner of the page. Click "View Shopping Cart" to begin checkout, or click “Continue Shopping” to search for other titles you want to purchase. Once you find a book you want, go to the product page, make sure the eBook format is selected, and click "Add to Cart".Ī notification appears confirming that the title was added to your Shopping Cart. To buy an eBook, find the book of your choice on BN.com by browsing our curated lists and categories or buy searching a specific title/author/subject in the Search bar at the top of the page. You can also read eBooks by using the Barnes & Noble NOOK App on iOS and Android devices or on BN.com using NOOK for Web. Purchases are stored in your NOOK Cloud™ and can be read on any NOOK device that is registered to your BN.com account.
